--> artsy approach doesn't suit a workwear brand
--> textured background might work

  • text could be placed vertically, so as images
  • Images could be placed on a page using the simple 4 grid system
  • Images could be placed with a white border or occupying the whole page

  • Make use of the sizes of text to act as a distinguisher between headings/ subheadings and body text
  • Images could be duplicated in a page to create an interesting layout
  • Use big typography or numbers on one page to separate different sections of the magazine 
  • A line could be used to separate text sections

  • images could be placed in a randomly collaged layout
  • Wise use of geometry, using triangles for titles and rectangles to collage with images to create breadth 
  • Bright coloured text and headings to make them standout from images
  • Use white boxes to chop off images for placing text

  • Focuses on sustainable fashion
  • Has their own instagram account -->The company have acknowledged the fact that their audiences are adopters of new technology and are very engaged in social media such as instagram --> posts main elements of their content on instagram
  • As they have online platforms like online magazine and instagram, information could be spread via the internet, therefore, for the physical magazine, they could focus more on the visuals and layouts without cramping paragraphs of informative text --> do not really have much information on the printed magazine

  • pastel and bright colours
  • Bold coloured borders
  • Less condensed text
  • Minimalist

  • has a youtube channel with interviews and videos about music, art and fashion
  • Instagram account is a great platform to find inspiration for both style and photography

  • Body text centred on the page leaving white space on the sides
  • Headings incorporated on product images
  • Text could be overlaid on images and photos
  • Text either centred on the page or aligned to the sides
  • Image on image to create a photo collage

  • Youtube channel with inspirational content that has features of celebs, desingers, event coverage, street styrl, and documentary-like films
Layouts:
  • simple yet significant cover layout design 
  • text could be both hand written and typed out 
  • The spine does not act as a limitation for placing images
  • Interviews: bolded text for questions, regular text for answers
  • Centred image with centred text below

  • Streetwear mainly focusing on menswear
  • sell both Digital versions and printed versions
  • Sell magazines in a bundle from where consumers get to have both the digital snd the physical magazine

  • Bnw images with bright type and background colours
